Rachel Maddow Mocks Fox News Teabaggers

Teabagging is sweeping the nation. Rachel Maddow did a report on this new, conservative, right-wing phenomenon on her show recently, in a segment that began with the chyron “InsaniTea.” She summarized the high points of Fox News’s plethora of coverage including Neil Cavuto saying “we’re all over it” (eww) and Griff Jenkins (sporting colonial hat) reading the movement’s admonition to “teabag the White House.” (Lots of cajones needed for a building that size; but today’s conservatives are muy macho!)

Maddow’s coverage was quite informative. While she said that the movement’s organizers can’t be held responsible for who shows up, there is a great deal of interest in the white supremacist and militia community. (Fans of Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, or leftist “plants?”) She said that Republican Senator David (diaper) Vitter wants a law honoring April 15th as a national tea party day. But I thought that Ana Marie Cox’s comment was just so right – “who wouldn’t want to teabag John McCain?” Speaking of Fox, when Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto were doing a little teabagging talk, Beck said that the teabaggers were “hacked off at George W. Bush” because “they were angry at the spending of the Republicans.” Funny, I don’t recall any populist outrage. Is that because their mouths were full of tea – bags? Who knows! But one thing is for sure – Fox News loves teabagging.

The repubs hear the truth they're in denial. They been playing the partisan game since McCarthy went on his witch hunt back in the 50's followed up with a Republican break-in at the Democratic Head Quarters at Watergate.

They have purposely done their best to polarize the country using abortion, war and guns (pro-life and pro-death all in the same breath) and so called fiscal responsibility (when in actuality they've sold our economic souls to the Chinese and big business) causing the worst economic recession in 70 years but trying to blame it on the incoming political party.

They've tried to pain themselve as morally superior while some of them are in the arms of prostitutes, mistresses, putting the make on congressional pages or toe tapping in a public mens room or entertaining at sex clubs and strip joints. Some of them are of course honest and upstanding but many are just hypocrites who only care about power and greed.

Isn't anyone tired of listening to them accusing moderates and progressives of being anything from communists to nazis all the while standing at a podium on the house floor pounding the podium and screaming epithets and threats (see Boehner after the healt care vote) like the little german man with the mustache.

They make believe to be Christians while sending our men and women to war based on lies believing that (as one blogger said) the right-to-life ends at birth. Then there's the ones like Palin and Bachmann encouraging Nazi Brown Shirt style violence against the government or Boehner justifying violence in the same sentence that he "pretends" to condemn it.

The worst part is the hypocrisy pretending to espouse family values while in the middle of an adulterous affair (we all remember Newt right?). They will never change.

The GOP likes to run on the no-tax base forgetting to indicate to their constituents how you pay for military, space programs, education or even their own salaries (I know they don't make much money that's why so many are beholding to lobbyists) without taxes?

Maybe at some point they'll come around and realize they in office to help solve the problems of the American people not make things worse.

With all that said I get a kick out of them touting the "tea baggers" we know that Vitters, Foley and Craig enjoy so it follows that the GOP would see it as a viable movement even though most of the members are already enjoying the social programs they're railing agains like social security and medicare, I mean look at all those white haired fools out there screaming about socialism when they are benefactors of that "socialism".

Looking at that sea of white haired white folk it's easy to believe that they're driven more by racism than by the threat of socialism.

So thank God for people like Maddow and Olbermann.

Latinos and Minorities are not alone in their fight for Kindness, Decency, Humanity, Humane Behaviour, and Love instead of Hatred and Racism

TV Journalist Edward R Murrow fought against that monster of intolerance Joseph McCarthy in 1954, even if his employers of CBS were scared of that rabies dog, the founder of McCarthysm, a guy that has many followers till our days.

Great Stars of the Noble Media :

    Keith Olbermann
    Rachel Maddow

They do not need to be "Merchants of Hate" as the guys of Fox News and others.

In the Academia and Think Tanks :

John B. Judis and Ruy Teixeira.

John B. Judis is the famous author of a book with Ruy Teixeira "The Emerging Democratic Majority"

I have the videos in Which John B. Judis declares that the Republican Campaign and McCain were practicing Racism. That was a few days before the election but I missed his declarations until now.

"Millennial Makeover" Co-authors Morley Winograd and Mike Hais - and their friend Simon Rosenberg of NDN, a progressive and Latino friendly Think Tank. They speak up for Decency and Progress.

Paul Krugman, Noble Prize Winner, also accuses the Republican Party of being Racist Friendly and a "White Party"

Janeane Garofalo, my beloved actress of "The Truth About Cats & Dogs" calls teebaggers "racist rednecks" ...

Latinos are not alone in this fight for kindness, Humanity and Humane Behaviour, a fight for decency and love and against the Evil Forces of Hatred and Outright Racism.

Even Obama spoke in very harsh terms of Rush Limbaugh and his aggressivity against Latinos. That was in the campaign.

Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican Nationa Committee said that Rush Limbaugh was incendiary.

Ted Turner, the owner of CNN, said that he did not like the aggressivity and bias of Lou Dobbs against Latinos.

Fox News Owner Rupert Murdoch despises Bill O’Reilly, the prejudiced right wing biased bigot of the Network

So Latinos are not alone. There are many decent people that are not Haters and Racists.

You can help me to make a list of Noble and Decent People, those devoid of Hate and Resentment against Life. I am sure that I am missing many Honorable and Outstanding People.

The people who came up with this movement couldn't have spent 3 minutes on Urban Dictionary to make sure their movement's title didn't have any negative connotations they weren't aware of? seriously? I think that should be one of those steps you shouldn't forget about.
