Tony Snow On Fox’s “Perceived Bias”
Posted on October 29th, 2007 by cliffschecter

Mr. Snow thinks Fox is perceived as biased because they don't "treat conservatives like knuckle dragging morons," to which I say 1) It is much more than that and 2) conservatives obviously are knuckle dragging morons, with the occasional exception.

Oh, and about that "perceived bias," perhaps this will, for the 201,737th time show why it is much more than perceived…

    Brave New Films is neither.

Unfortunately for the "fact despising" right-wing, Brave New Films and Media Matters use video and transcripts to corroborate the extremist, reactionary, biased absurdities that Faux Noise puts on the air every day. It's pretty hard to argue with a video and a transcript, even for those Bush sycophants that believe Iraq was involved with 9-11.

Faux Noise, Hannity, Billo, Hume, et al are simply mouthpieces for ne-con, conservative talking-points and have no connection with a fair and balanced news gathering organization. They are dangerous though, as what they dispense is often racist, biased, war-mongering hatred and propaganda that is incredibly harmful to the cause of peace, justice and a great America.

That's why they are watched, that's why they are rcorded and that's why they always will be.

    "...FOX creates its own news..."

Please provide some examples, don't just vomit bullshit and expect anyone to believe it.

And you just can't stand it, can you?

As far as distortions--one need look on futher than this site and media matters

The big difference between FOX and the other news channels is that FOX creates its own news and then makes a wave of follow up stories and brings on talking heads to keep it going. FOX will spend days pumping an idea into the heads of their moronic viewers often starting with the "Fox and Friends" in the morning and bleating all day into the night with O'Reilly. It's not a news channel, it's mind control. Just look at how they handled the Rosie ODonnell nonsense, their annual "War on Christmas" and their daily desperate attempts to prove global warming is not real, to mention a few.

"The difference is that CNN, MSNBC, 60 Minutes etc. are legitimate, impartial, news organizations."

Please post specific examples of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC being credible.

Con-servatives think that everybody's liberal, but Faux is "fair and balanced." They fail to see the right wing bias of everyone.
  • brian
CNN and MSNBC stink, but Faux is the worst. The only good ones are Olbermann and Anderson Cooper.
  • John Ehrenfeld
I am still waiting. Please post specific examples of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC bias. Recent and supported by links to credible sources as we do. Thank you.

I won't be as ludicrous as most of the zealots here, but I will agree with them. All mainstream media has bias and much is because of orders from the government such as casualties mentioned in Afghanistan were to be followed by a mention of 911. This was directed to CNN, never mind the snafu with Michael Moore. MSM is terrible, but Fox is ludicrous. They have an agenda which is more than a Bias and is a better term to use when comparing MSM outlets.
