Sunday FOX Panel is Iran Warmongerrific!
Posted on October 28th, 2007 by DJK

By the way that William Kristol and Brit Hume talk, you’d think that the Iraq/Afghanistan debacles never happened. They just can’t seem to get it through their rocky neocon skulls that there are consequences to, as Hume put it, launching a “devastating military strike” against another country. Remember Shock & Awe? What did that achieve except signifying the start of the biggest avoidable clusterfuck this country has ever seen? They really seem to think that you can launch nukes at a country, dust off your hands, and go home for dinner. After Iraq, how could you ever assume that it would be that easy?

Kristol misses the point completely when he says it’s “ludicrous” and “ridiculous” for the administration to explain why it wants to outfit B-2 bombers with bunker busters. While Kristol thinks it will be giving plans to Iran, the point is that AMERICANS need to know the extent to which the Bush administration is preparing for war with Iran, allowing them to chance to use that democracy thing to decide if this is really what, as a country, we should be doing right now.

Also, there’s that little problem of unilateral sanctions being traditionally ineffective and bunker busters being ineffective in destroying buried targets while causing the deaths of thousands from radiation sickness, both inside and outside Iran. And the fact that I wouldn’t trust the Bush administration to assemble Ikea furniture, let alone start another war based on their “intelligence”.

When I started doing research for FOX ATTACKS! Iran, I told people that the republicans would try to use Iran scaremongering against the democrats, just like they tried to convince Americans that Al Qaeda was rooting for John Kerry in 2004. What say you, Droopy Dog Hume?

And it seems to me when you have Democrats running around, wringing their hands about alleged saber rattling that it makes them look terribly weak, and in the end if you’re the head of Iran, you think, “well, we want those people in charge.”

So predictable.

oh some relationship...you know those planes to the twin towers thing were just a jester of kindness and giving. my question is Why dont we go into the Country that has harmed us or that do need our help instead of Iraq?
  • Raziorizzo
Answer what question??? Why don't we invade Saudi Arabia??? What are you talking about???? First of all 1 in 5 democrats think we are better off losing the war. Why would we invade Saudi Arabia, we have a relationship with that country. This isn't a game you play in the arcade. You can't just "Ummmmmmm ok Tuesday we're going to invade Saudi Arabia" Im to tired to explain right now. Go to your history books
  • hooah
you didn't answer my question Raziorizzo....
  • Raziorizzo
You looney democrats are something else "No War" "Stop invading countries" "We can't be the worlds Policeman" Now its "Duhhhhhhhh What about the other countries. Lets attack other countries. Gimme a break Learn your history before you dabble
  • John Ehrenfeld
Well articulated Hooah. Thanks for particpating here we appreciate it.
  • Hooah
ya first of all stop calling me Hoohaha second of all stop talking about what you don't know...off this topic thats all you republicans have now is well Saddam was a bad guy because your story about 9/11 and WMD turned out to be bullshit ya Saddam is a bad guy he did terrible terrible things so why don't we invade Africa? Chad, Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, Congo all of these counties 10...worse in Rwanda and Sudan millions of people were slaughtered genocide was committed and still is being committed in Sudan way worse of things are being committed by the leaders to the people but we don't do a damn thing so answer me that AND NO ANSWER ME THIS why dont we go into Saudi Arabia? where Osama is from and it's where the men that committed the terrorist acts on us on 9/11 were from...so why dont we go into the REAL places that we should?
  • Raziorizzo
No Iraq wasn't a push over and far from being a war well planned and without mistakes, I'll will admit that. But on the other hand if democrats had it there way Saddam Hussein will still be in power and seeking nuclear weapons. He wouldn't just stand by and watch as Iran is seeking nukes. We would now would of have to try and keep both Iran and Iraq from having nukes which would of made it more harder then above all hearing the democrats cry "Why didn't we take Saddam out?" Isn't it funny how the democrats are now shying away from talking about Iraq and trying to find other topics, how the papers aren't blaring every soldiers death

Moving to a different topic Hoohaha must you resort to infantile behavior and have itty bitty woosy fits. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Grow up
  • John Ehrenfeld
Hooah - I understand that perspective and respect your opinion but I just don't agree for the reasons I stated. The onne majot fallacy I find with your argument is that is based on speculation; the scenario you outlined was in no way a certainty.

Kind of like the US thinking Iraq would be a pushover; flowers in the streets and a huge welcoming committee. That was wrong wasn't it.
  • hooah
John ya it was awful no one is saying it wasn't it was just god awful but the point of dropping the bombs was because we would just a likely have to shoot all of the women men and children. They literately believed the emperor was a god and would fight to the death for him. It would be a Iraq x 1000, we would have lost so many soldiers you wouldn't be able to count horrible things would happen to and by the soldiers, we would be their for a uncertain amount of time fighting with the people...not just some terrorist like in Iraq but all of the people
